Danny Jones

Danny has been involved in the construction industry for most of his life. He got his start in high school, working summers and school breaks at his father's utility company. Beginning as a laborer, he steadily worked his way up — heavy equipment operator, foreman, and eventually superintendent — becoming a partial owner by the age of twenty-two. When his father passed away in 1990, Danny stepped into the role of vice-president.

Around that time, the company launched a sand and gravel operation as a sideline, mining select fill and river sand. That sideline soon became the main event: the utility business was wound down so the team could focus on growing the sand company into a major competitor in the Tulsa area. Danny oversaw all aspects of the business in this new chapter, with a particular focus on production and safety — helping build it into the third-largest single-plant concrete sand producer in the state.

In 2016, Danny retired from construction when the business was sold to a competitor. Not long after, he started a new venture — a small firearms dealership in Broken Arrow. But construction never fully left his blood, and when BR Heavy came calling with an opportunity to return as a project manager, he jumped at it with both hands.

Outside of work, Danny enjoys traveling with his wife, watching his children grow into young adults, and spending time with an ever-expanding third generation of grandchildren. He's also an avid long-distance precision shooter, loves riding his motorcycle, playing with 3d design and printing, a dedicated reader, and has recently tried his hand at writing science fiction.
